MEDIA, PA – Three men died, and one man went to the hospital Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash involving a bus and a trash truck in central Delaware County.
The incident happened just before 8 a.m. on the Media Bypass near Route 252 in the city of Media.
Police say a paratransit bus ignited after colliding with the rear of a trash truck.
Three people on the bus, including the driver, sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims but have identified them as a 31-year-old man, a 60-year-old man, and a 75-year-old man.
Medics transported the 36-year-old truck driver to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
