Narrative
A 58-year-old man died Monday afternoon after his Jeep collided with another vehicle on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Wexford. The incident happened around 4:20 p.m. on the westbound side of I-76 near mile marker 31.1. Police say the driver of a westbound Jeep veered into a neighboring lane, which caused another vehicle to crash into a concrete barrier. The Jeep also collided with a concrete barrier before overturning and throwing the driver from the vehicle. The driver died at the scene. Authorities identified him as Ashfaq Ahmed. No other injuries were reported. A full investigation is underway.
