Narrative
Three people died after a head-on collision that occurred at 6:30 p.m. on State Route 611 at State Route 715 in Tannersville on Sunday, December 4th. Officials report that the 28-year-old driver of Traffic Unit 1 collided head-on with Traffic Unit 2. The cause of the crash is still unclear. Both the driver of Traffic Unit 1 and the 33-year-old driver of Traffic Unit 2 died at the scene of the collision. Authorities identified the drivers as Elisha Andre and Alejandro Roman. Medics transported three passengers from Traffic Unit 1 to the hospital. One of those passengers, identified as 26-year-old Ruth Gedeon, died at the hospital on Monday night. Police suspect that speed may have been a factor in the wreck. A full investigation is underway.
