Narrative
ALLENTOWN, PA – A 91-year-old man died, and a woman went to the hospital Monday after an SUV and an 18-wheeler collided along Route 222 in Allentown.
The incident happened around 10:41 a.m. on Route 2222 at Kressler Road, which is just east of the Subaru dealership.
The investigation indicates that a westbound 2000 Freightliner tractor-trailer hit the side of a westbound 2021 BMW SUV X3 as the latter vehicle stopped to turn left at Kessler Road.
A passenger in the BMW, identified as John H. Milliman, died later that day at a local hospital.
The driver of the BMW, identified as 65-year-old Linda Milliman, sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the crash.
