Narrative

ERIE, PA – A man was killed Wednesday in a motorcycle crash in Belle Valley.

The incident occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90, near mile marker 37, close to the interchange with I-86, at approximately 4:19 p.m.

Troopers say 52-year-old Anthony Culver was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the right lane, overtaking multiple vehicles in the left lane when he lost control and veered onto the shoulder.

The motorcycle then collided with a guardrail. The impact caused Culver to be thrown off the motorcycle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by state police.
