Narrative

Three passengers from a SEPTA bus went to the hospital Friday after the bus crashed along a roadway in Ridley Township. The incident happened around 1 a.m. near the intersection of MacDade Boulevard and Maple Avenue, which is just down the road from Roy Tweedy’s Old Fashioned Butcher Shop. Police say the driver lost control of the bus and collided with two utility poles near the intersection. The severity of the hurt passengers’ injuries has not been disclosed. The driver did not sustain injuries. A full investigation of the crash is underway.
