Narrative
ETNA, PA – Two men went to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after their vehicles collided along a busy roadway in central Allegheny County.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 8 and Kittanning Street in Etna. This is just northwest of Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium.
The investigation indicates that two vehicles collided after one of the vehicles left the roadway. Both drivers went to the hospital; one of the drivers sustained critical injuries.
Police say the accident also caused extensive property damage when one of the vehicles went airborne and landed on several parked cars in a lot.
