Narrative
SNYDER CO., PA – A 30-year-old man sustained fatal injuries last Thursday in a go-kart crash in west-central Snyder County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred just before 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Middle Creek Road and Sandhill Road on the northeastern outskirts of Beaver Springs. This is about 130 miles northwest of Allentown.
Police say that the go-kart operator, identified as Kolbe Straw, entered the path of a southbound Chevrolet Express, causing a collision. The impact of the crash threw Straw from the go-kart and into the roadway.
Straw died at the scene of the accident.
None of the five people in the Chevy were hurt.
