Narrative
An SUV was turning left when a northbound semitruck hit its passenger side on Route 225, killing the passenger and injuring the driver, on March 16th. The SUV had formerly been driving southbound and was hit at 4:09p.m. while driving across the truck’s lane. Both vehicles were left on the east shoulder of Route 225. Matthew D. Napoleoni, 44, was the passenger who was killed at the scene by the impact. The driver of his vehicle was seriously injured, but there is no indication of what these injuries are. The semitruck driver was not harmed. An investigation into this case continues.
